Washington Troubled Teens in CrisisThere is a growing trend today of more and more Washington teens in crisis. Teens in crisis experiment with drugs and alcohol, run away from home, and are defiant towards authority. These teens are considered to be demonstrating “out of control” behaviors and they need help, because it is very difficult to stop on their own. If you require assistance with troubled girls or boys our counselors at Abundant Life Academy may be able to help, our number is 888-305-6729. Many teens in crisis are introduced to negative behavior through their friends. Studies have shown that at this stage in a teen's life, there is a great psychological need to feel accepted as part of a social group. This means that fitting in is a great priority for teens, which leads to them doing whatever their friends do even though it is ultimately not in anyone's best interest. Eventually, this can tear a family apart. At Abundant Life Academy, family restoration is one of our core missions. We understand the viewpoint and mindset of troubled boys and girls and our staff is trained to communicate effectively with them. We are dedicated to helping troubled teens overcome their problems.
