Drugs and alcohol are widespread and easy to obtain, the media reflects our rapidly degenerating society, and the vast majority of teens have tried or will try drugs at one point in their lives. They have been taught to think that partying and drinking will bring them satisfaction and happiness but often they cannot be further from the truth.
