New York Troubled Teens in CrisisMost teenagers are rebellious, but excessive rebellion is dangerous. New York teens in crisis who experiment with drugs and alcohol, run away from home, are disrespectful, and are defiant towards authority are said to demonstrate “out of control” behaviors. The “out of control” teen no longer recognizes parental authority, thinks only for him- or herself, and is unconcerned with the effects his or her actions have on their family. This can be very destructive to a household. If you need assistance with a troubled teen, our counselors at Abundant Life Academy can help you. Please call us at 888-305-6729 for assistance. There are several options available for restoring “out of control” teens in crisis. These range from residential treatment centers, military schools, therapeutic boarding schools, wilderness programs, and more. Each has a unique program they use to communicate and facilitate change in troubled teens. Abundant Life Academy is a Christian therapeutic boarding school located in Southern Utah.
