New Mexico Troubled Teens in Crisis

In the world we live in today, many New Mexico teens in crisis are at risk. It is very easy to get caught up with drugs and alcohol, running away from home, defiance towards authority, and disrespect. The common justification that teens use is that “everyone does it”. This is a very common and widespread fallacy in teen thinking that just because everyone does it, that justifies their actions. If you require assistance with troubled girls or boys, please give us a call at 888-305-6729, our counselors at Abundant Life Academy can help.

Teens are social creatures, which means that they have a strong psychological need to feel accepted into a group of friends. Teens in crisis are also very easily influenced by their peers, especially if they have a rebellious streak that disregards any parental advice they receive because their parents “don't understand them” or “don't know what it's like”, even though this may be opposite from the truth. Abundant Life Academy is a Christian boarding school for troubled boys and girls that specializes in restoring troubled teens to their families. At ALA, we understand the mindset and viewpoint of the troubled teen and we tailor our program to suit each individual teen's unique needs. Our Life Coaches mentor troubled boys and girls and teach them valuable leadership skills that will help them be successful when they graduate the program.
