Maine teens in crisis often deny the fact that they need help. They continue to engage in reckless and self-destructive behavior without any regard for the effect this has on their families. Most teenagers are rebellious against parental authority to a certain extent, but some take it too far and cause great harm to themselves and their loved ones. There are several options for the treatment of troubled boys and girls in crisis. Some of them are residential treatment centers, boot camps, wilderness programs, military schools, and Christian boarding schools. Each has a unique program they use to work with troubled teens. Abundant Life Academy is a Christian boarding school located in Southern Utah. Our mission is to give troubled teens a chance to make a fresh start and turn their backs on their old lives.
