Louisiana Troubled Teens in Crisis

There is a growing epidemic of drug and alcohol abuse among Louisiana teens in crisis today. In addition, more and more troubled teens are running away from home, defiant towards authority, and disrespectful towards parental authority. They no longer care about the effect of their actions on their family and people who really care about them. In other words, they are displaying “out of control” behaviors. If your troubled teen is in need of assistance, please call 888-305-6729 to speak with our counselors about placement.

One reason that can be attributed to teenage society's rapid degeneration is the fact that popular media glorifies violence, drugs, sex, gangs, and the party lifestyle. Teens in crisis grow up these days thinking that the wrong things will make them happy and act on their incorrect thinking. This can lead to chemical dependency, truancy, gang involvement, and other self-destructive behavior. At Abundant Life Academy, it is our mission to take troubled boys and girls and restore them to their families while teaching them valuable life skills that will help them succeed when they go back to their home environment. We have licensed therapists who work with struggling teens to help them overcome their issues. For more information, please call 888-305-6729 to talk to one of our counselors.
