Traditional boarding schools for troubled teens are too big (too many kids), and don't have enough “professional” mentors in daily contact with the students. No matter how good their program maybe, most boarding schools for troubled boys and troubled girls inadvertently allow kids to fall through the cracks. If the program for rebellious kids is too big, students can hide and front their way through the program, and never experience the heart change. Therefore, the possibility of getting through the struggling teens program without real change is usually the outcome rather then the exception.
