Christian Youth Programs

Christian youth programs are very different from regular youth programs. Christian youth programs rise to another element. Christian youth program advisors and managers are able to take it to another level, because they base all their practice on a Biblical approach. Secular youth programs tend to be based off of the latest troubled teen developments/findings, or newest societal norm.

The reason secular youth programs fail, is due to their methods of practice. Their two main objectives are constantly changing, which makes it hard to get to the root of a problem, because what it comes down to is stereotypically labeling an individual into a standard. Standards are continuously shifting. It makes it hard to really understand an individual’s morals. And most importantly, it lacks the ability to recognize the motives behind an individual’s decision making process.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Christian youth programs are different than Christian Boarding Schools in that they distinguish that the Bible has a lot of practical wisdom about the nature of a human being, marriage, the anatomy of a family, and fleshly struggles. Using Biblical concepts christian youth programs implement learning how to hold yourself accountable. Indeed, Christian advisors often use skills from the secular psychology field, but above all, they apprehend the Bible is the ultimate authority. Christian youth program administrators focus on helping individuals apply Biblical Truth to everyday life. When the Truth is believed, known, and followed, the Truth will set you free!
