Abundant Life Academy Offering Hope for Troubled Teens (Boys and Girls) and their families
Abundant Life Academy (ALA), offering hope to trobled teens, both troubled boys and troubled girls. ALA is first and foremost an educational and academic program where school is very imoortant, and students invest their heart. Moreover, ALA offers family restoration, reconciling troubled teenagers to their parents. Most of the rift between parents of troubled teens and the troubled boy or troubled girl is based on the child's lack of academic discipline and their lackluster commitment to education. Parents of troubled teens suffer as much, if not more, than the troubled teens. Therefore, Abundant Life Academy focuses on family healing, relational recovery, and parent/child unity (restored spirit). Abundant Life Academy, an unique Christian boarding school, serving middle school and high school-aged students, ages 12 to 18. While enrolled with Abundant Life Academy the students are emersed into a profitable and encouraging educational environment. We believe that the student's personal hope will be manifested through their academic successes. These successes will change their life forever. The academic program is one of the very best education prsentations, heads and shoulders above most troubled teen schools.
ALA is specifically designed for the student who is without hope; emotionally immature, struggling academically, in need of academic restoration (would benefit from grade repair and credit recovery). Additionally, ALA offers hope to the once college-bound student who has gotten off track, and is in need of a highly structured academic environment to regain their academic mission. The typical ALA student leader is bright, gifted, yet unmotivated and undisciplined, and require adult/teacher assistance to refocus academic priorities. Essentially, ALA provides the right environment, discipline, and structure to ensure that our students will renew their academic hope. At Abundant Life Academy our hope is that every student leader regain a love for education, become life long learners, as well as to establish a heart commitment to education. Our goal and objective is to see every student set forth a solid educational vision, a vision of hope. The hope for a powerful future is found through an education, and without at least a high school diploma its next to impossible for young people to thrive or grow as adults.
The typical ALPA student is a phenomenal teen from a Christ-centered family. Our families place a high value on education, spiritual development, humility, character, and a love for Christ. Yet, their child struggles with his/her family's values and expectations, especially when it comes to their social life and education. They normal Abundant Life Academy student is more than capable, but unwilling to invest into their future each day through education. Basically, the ALA student can thrive and prosper, but the educational environment must be perfect. Without structure and academic assistance the ALA student can easily get behind, and often has already give up. The ALA student leader has the tools and the intelligence to be successful (get good grades) but gets distracted easily and cares a lot more about a social life than they do academics. In addition to academic structure and discipline ALA offers an interscholastic athletic/sports program for boys (football, basketball, and baseball) and horsemanship (equine) program and cheerleading for girls. Moreover, ALA offers recreational activities throughout the year, which include snow boarding, skiing, hiking, camping, theatre, concerts, etc.

PAbundant Life Academy offers our students Christ-centered leadership training through weekly series of powerful seminars. The ALA leadership seminars are designed to help the young person develop a deeper understanding of themselves and others, improve relationships with all types of people, apply proven leadership principles, and increase overall wellness and a sense of well-being (boosting self-confidence and self-esteem). The ALA Leadership program is the bases of the renewed hope. Additionally, ALA offers Christian discipleship through the weekly Bible leadership program (Bible study, Youth Group, Sunday Chapel).
