At ALA, we strongly believe that prayer provides the covering and shield for our ministry and students of Abundant Life Academy. Community prayer is included in every aspect of ALA daily life, including before meals, at the beginning and conclusion of meetings, prior to athletic events and in many other ways. Additionally, staff often pray for and with students who are struggling. Students are also encouraged to pray with and for each other and to spend times in private prayer time throughout their enrollment.

 

Students may also participate as a member of the ALA Student Prayer Team. The ALA Student Prayer Team leads the student body and staff in prayer throughout each week. The Team prays for one another, for the academy as a whole, for families of the students and staff, and for the community of St. George. In special circumstances, the ALA Prayer Team leads the student body to pray for students who are struggling and are in need of a breakthrough. This Team is one of the most important groups of Abundant Life Academy.





Christian Boarding School for Troubled Teens, with residential therapy for teens struggling with anger, depression, reactive attachment disorder (RAD), intermittent explosive disorder (IED), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), attention deficit, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), substance abuse, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, self-harm, or rebellion.
