The Abundant Life Academy Basketball Program is ...

The ALA Basketball Program is where young men are learning athletic prowess and at the same time strong christian values from the ALA coaches and all the ALA men who are also part of the program. The games are chances for the team to show honor and ability at the same time. No super stars mostly a team effort except someone has to lead the team in scoring:)

It is great to see these once troubled teens now performing and practicing in activities that bring them joy. What is great is that they all know that we (ALA) represent the Christian image in the league. This also makes them very proud when they display Christian values on the court.

The Abundant Life Academy Football Program

This program is very exciting. The organization needed to keep this team fit, prepared and able to win games in a very competitive league is very impressive. But more impressive is the desire that each individual player gives on and off the field. Our coaches and many ALA volunteers work with these young men and instill a constant litany of team play, honor and respect that goes way beyond the daily rigor most high school or college football players face. Playing well and having skill on the field is only half the battle at this school. Our boys have a higher goal than winning each game on points, they must uphold the tradition of winning as Christian soldiers.

Although the ALA Baseball program is doing well and bringing the same values in which the Football and Basketball program have come to represent, the Coach has provided only a few pictures of which this is the only one I have available (the team sitting on the bench), which I received indirectly from a parent of one of our students. So Coach this is your reminder to send me those pictures of your awesome team!
