ALA Group Therapy Value Add-Ons for Troubled Teens at Abundant Life Academy

 

Group Therapy:  Group therapy at Abundant Life Academy is reserved for
students with known display of inappropriate/ineffective responses to
traumatic past events in their lives.  For example, many students of ALA
are adopted and therefore display various “normal” negative behaviors that
associated with maladjusted adoptions placements.  Furthermore, some
students are struggling deeply with the fact that their parents are
divorced and there is a great deal of continued stress and discord within
the broken family.  Many of our past student, unbeknownst by the parents,
are in the throws of substance abuse and are in great need of therapeutic
intervention (treatment).  Unfortunately, these parents have no idea about
the detrimental effects/affects drug abuse can have on the development of
a teenager.  In these case group counseling is an absolute necessity.
Abundant Life Academy presents an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for
substance abuse and substance abuse treatment.



-       Anger Management

-       Divorce Recovery

-       Adoption Issues

-       Substance Abuse Counseling (IOP)



The cost to participate in Anger Management, Divorce Recovery, and
Adoptions Issues group therapy is $500 for the 3-month program.  The cost
of the IOP substance abuse counseling program is $1500 for the 90-day
program.
