Abundant Life Academy Academics - Course Offerings - Christian Boardiing Schools for Troubled Teens

The academic program at Abundant Life Academy is the foundation of our purpose, our vision, and our objective for  every student leader.  Abundant Life Academy, a Christian boarding school for troubled teens,located in St. George, Utah.  Better known as ALA by the students, Abundant Life is a self-paced academic program featuring online courses and certified teachers.  The ALA certified teachers act as one-on-one tutors giving each student more "time with the teacher" than any traditional school setting.  Our teachers are there with the students when they need a teacher the most.

Again, all of our teachers are certified instructors, most with masters degrees and many years of expeience (previously employed as high school or college instructors). One-on-one time between students and certified teachers is the the reason we are so successful academically.  Most of our students come into ALA behind in grade and credit.  Because of our unique blend of sefl-pace and one-on-one instruction our students enjoy the credit recovery and grade repair. Class offerings include all of the academic core classes such as math, language arts, social studies and science. Each of our boarding school student’s previous school transcript is reviewed by a guidance counselor and a course of study is assigned for that student.
