The Enrollment Process

After reading about Abundant Life Academy and establishing an understanding of who we are, you may feel that ALA is an appropriate fit for your family. To determine if your child would be a fit for our program, please review our Admissions Criteria here.

As you consider Abundant Life Academy as a possibility for your family, we ask that whatever decision you make is found on your knees. We firmly believe that God brings to us the exact families that he wants us to minister to. Time and time again, we find that, as parents pray and make the decision to enroll based on the leading of the Holy Spirit over their own emotion; God is provided a conduit for change in the life of their child. Many times parents talk to friends, family, pastors, and others regarding the enrollment of their child and spend very little time seeking the face of God as to His desire for their family.

We do not hold to the belief that Abundant Life Academy is the place for everyone. We believe that we have an outstanding program and that what we provide families is outstanding. However, we truly believe that God sends us the exact families he intends for us to serve and we pray fervently for those families. We have discovered that the best scenarios for growth are when parents have spent time seeking God as to his direction for their child and have clearly been directed by him to ALA. It is in those arenas that a pathway is created for the Holy Spirit to most effectively accomplish God’s plan through our staff and program.

This is a challenging time as a parent. You are in a place where you find yourself questioning so many things, desperate for change, wondering if there is hope. There is hope! Jeremiah 1:5 states that, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart…” Abundant Life Academy provides a place where your teen can re-connect with the internal value that God has placed in him or her since the beginning of time. Abundant Life Academy provides an opportunity for you as well—to find respite, develop as a parent, find healing and wholeness—and to truly see God bring forth restoration to your entire family.

The first place to start is to fill out our application. Please be as thorough and detailed as possible as it allows our Focus Team the best opportunity to review your situation and address your family’s needs. The application for Abundant Life Academy can be found here.
