In the State of Rhode Island there are three Christian boarding schools.  All three boarding school options in the State of RI are incredible academic institutions.  Everyone knows that this state is tiny, and there are very few people living in RI, proportionally to other U.S. states.  There are more boarding schools per capita in this eastern state than any other State in the Union.  However, for the RI parents of troubled teens there are no Christian programs or schools, and there are no other types of boarding schools for troubled boys or troubled girls.  The parents of troubled teens must look to near by States, Massachusetts, Connecticut or perhaps New York for any type of boarding school option. 

The three Christian schools found in RI are Portsmouth Abbey School, in Portsmouth, RI, St. Andrew's School in Barrington, RI, and St. George's School in Newport, RI.  Again, each one of these top boarding schools are incredible.  There are no all girls boarding schools and there are no all boys schools in the state either.  All three boarding schools are co-educational.  Parents who are seeking on the internet or in the yellow pages won't find any boarding schools in RI that are specifically Christian and devoted to troubled teens or even in any of the nearby State.
