Christian Boarding Schools for Troubled Teenage Boys and Girls in Pennsylvania

The State of Pennsylvania has a rich resource of traditional boarding schools.  IN PA there are 15 Christian boarding schools.  All 15 Pennsylvania Christian boarding schools are excellent schools, offering tremendous academics, well rounded extra curricular activities, and outstanding athletic tradition.  There are five all boys boarding schools, two all girls boarding schools, and ten co-ed boarding schools.  Additionally, there are two military boarding schools in the State of Pennsylvania.  Parents of troubled teens are out of luck, there are no Christian boarding schools for troubled boys or troubled girls in Pennsylvania.  Parents of troubled teenagers have to look to nearby States for schools and programs for troubled teens.  Abundant Life Academy is the only Christian boarding school available to parents of troubled teenagers. 

Students with learning disabilities, ADD and ADHD issues, and other mental or behavioral health problems are not well represented by the Christian boarding schools in Pennsylvania.  Students with learning disabilities are not readily enrolled or well served by the best boarding schools.  The private boarding schools in PA serve only the best and brightest students.  Students who are college bound, highly intelligent, compete for placement in the best boarding schools.
