We just didn't find any Christian boarding schools in North Dakota. It is very sad when we do the research for parents of certain states, like North Dakota, and find nothing to offer.    For that matter, we didn't find any type of boarding school in North Dakota.  North Dakota parents of the brightest students, and parents of troubled teens, have no Christian boarding schools options in ND, and they are forced to travel to the State of Minnesota.  There are many therapeutic boarding school options in the State of Utah.  Many people wonder why the State of Utah has so many boarding schools for troubled teens.  The main reason is that the State of Utah is a "family rights" State, whereas most of the other States in the Union are "child rights" States.  In child rights States the troubled teen, no matter how out of control he or she may be, has all the rights.  In the child right States, the state has tied the hands of the parents and the parents cannot do anything about the outrageous behavior of their troubled teenager.  Moreover, in the child rights State like North Dakota, the troubled teen has all the rights, but the parents of the the troubled boys and troubled girls are legally responsible for anything the rebellious child may do.  In the State of Utah the parents have rights too.  They have the right to raise their child to take responsibility for their behavior, and the child, until he or she is 18, must be respectful and submit to authority.  Where other states do nothing about disrespect of teenagers, in the State of Utah it is not something that is overlooked.  From Law Enforcement Agencies to judges, the expectations of the teens of Utah is that they will be respectful and mind their parents or they will be incarcerated by the State.
