Bible Study

Bible Study is a critical element of weekly life at Abundant Life Academy.  ALA is not a part of any national or international denomination and does not teach any doctrine other than the Bible. The ALA ministry team holds a traditional view of scripture; that the Bible is the authoritative and complete Word of God.

As followers of Jesus Christ and part of the Body of Christ, we seek to model and teach basic Christian principles. Teens enrolled at ALA are often in a particular transitioning phase of development, and that includes their ideas and beliefs about faith in God and His Kingdom. There are some who arrive here who have never made a personal profession of faith, others who have but are rebelling against Him, and some who are Christians, but simply do not know the basics of the Bible or its teachings.

All students are required to complete the ALA Bible curriculum in order to advance through and complete their program. However, ALA students are encouraged and given opportunity to move beyond the required study to personal study and growth during their enrollment.
