Troubled Teen’s catholic boarding school
Catholic boarding schools are based on the Christian religion
in which addicted teenagers are admitted for their treatment
and further development. Many of the teenagers enter to the
catholic boarding school, that have evidence of intellectual
ability and they want an environment to achieve academic success.
The staff of these boarding schools pays individual attention
to the overall development and training of the teens that have
poor self esteem and also are poor in school performance. Each
teenager has to choose five or six academic subjects. All the
courses are based on behavior modification and prepare teens
for entrance into the best colleges and universities.
These schools also provides some games facilities for making
their student healthy. They provide football match, cricket
and volley ball match for boys and hockey and tennis sport
for the girls. The boys and girls can also change the games
according to their interest. The staff member also participates
in the game to encourage their students. They also create
some academic test for choosing best scholars among the school.
They get prizes to the winner and motivate other students
for participating in the game.
Some of the students have serious goal for college and professional
success. The school provides graduation program to these senior
students. This graduation program gets another way for success
in life. The student studies at least three hours a day and
four days in a week in the graduation programs. Some of the
student can participate in teaching for their earning as a
part time job. Graduates participate in sports and often become
big brothers to the younger teenagers who benefit from their
leadership.
These schools provides some field trips as summer camps
or tourism over a month. They make their programs for museums,
historical places, beaches and some of the religion places.
They also let their trips to riverside and Lake, parks and
mountain climbing. Some times they let their students to the
theater. Some of other outdoor facilities are running track,
horse riding, two baseball fields, tennis courts, and basketball
courts.
The students are gets a facility of medical care. For this
facility a nurse is available for twenty four hours as weekend.
Other doctors or physicians are called when needed. They also
provide a facility of ambulance which remains 5 minutes away
to the school campus. The students are treated every month
for finding a little bit of disease. The medical officer gets
a wide lecture on health related issues every month among
the teenagers.
These schools are often more helpful for some teenagers
and always it becomes the choice of the parents of the troubled
teen. Teens are helped to understand their strengths and weaknesses
in the catholic boarding school. They are encouraged to face
challenges and learn initiative and independence.
