Welcome to Abundant Life Academy!  We are an evangelical therapeutic boarding school designed for teens who are struggling. Our goal is to provide teens and their families with the tools and resources to thrive academically, relationally and spiritually. We help once troubled teens to begin living a life of love, service, acceptance and forgiveness, and equip them to become self-reliant, successful adults.

Year-round enrollment in our boarding school is for both girls and boys ages 13-17.  Students are in separate academies.   They have separate classes, lunch times, and leisure time, but they come together under direct supervision for youth group and church activities.

ALA is a Christian boarding school designed for teenagers that are:

  • Acting entitled and selfish
  • Troubled with low self-image or self-worth
  • Manipulating their family and others

Christian Counseling and Therapy for Teens

ALA is a Christian boarding school with the goal of facilitating the restoration of a positive relationship between the teen and their family through therapy, mentoring, and the love and hope of Jesus Christ.  

We work with troubled teens that have good hearts and have come from loving families, but they have had a disconnect somewhere along the line. Academically, the teens we serve typically have been outstanding students in the past, or have the potential to be so, yet are not currently applying themselves.

Most of the teens that come our boarding school are struggling with selfishness, entitlement, and finding motivation primarily in the poor peer choices they are making. They are in need of restoration with their families, reconnecting to their relationship with God, and a greater understanding of the value of who they are and where they fit in in your family and in the world (their purpose).
